I mean, who wouldn't want to have an app for an event that housed all the information you'd want? :-) Also, social feeds FTW! I tend to use a separate app to catch up with other tracks in an event so this is an actual use case for a legit attendee...

Across these 58,000+ events, consistently observed data pointed to significant learning: Relationships help Sales. Communities Thrive. Transactions are only for super contents.
However, amongst these event organizer types, we felt one common element that can transform events to a “Brand” completely missing!: Experiential Engagement of audiences/ attendees.
We found higher engagement by Relationship focused, and Community focused organizer types because of tools they use (for Email Newsletter sends, Community/ Chapter Membership Management). We transpired this into a realization that says: Best level of audience/ attendees engagement that could be done across ‘events timeline’ in an unified interface will be far more effective vs. done separately after/before resulting in skyrocketed ROIs.
And during this journey of studying behavior and talking to our customers we found they use various hacks to help give a better meaning to their audience/ attendees engagement. Hacks like asking users to tweet about their events, asking them to raise hands to acknowledge if they liked a session, having a help desk and volunteers on place to help attendees/ participants to ask for any help, questions, queries and emergencies during the event.
All good. But every attendee interaction is not stored, measured and improvised which let us to ask, is there a need Event Engagement Index?
