Howdy partners,
Finally, a month later, I launched Echosnap.io.
After the failure of my last SaaS, I returned to my role as a freelance designer. No reason, just to earn some savings so I can work on my next SaaS idea.
But the problem arose when I tried to get some video testimonials from clients for my portfolio site. They all agreed, but I didn't get a single testimonial.
Am I a bad designer? No, I'm too damn good.
But why?
They're just too shy. Obviously, the zoom meetings during the pandemic didn't cure people's camera shyness.
So, my next SaaS idea came up - I want to build a tool for collecting customer audio testimonials.
Text testimonials? Who knows if they're real? Are you really Greg the happy client or ChatGPT?
Video testimonials? You don't want to tidy up your room, you don't want to fix your hair, and you don't want to record yourself repeatedly in front of a camera. There are just too many friction points.
Therefore, I think, just maybe, audio testimonials are a sweet spot that combines the advantages of text and video testimonials. They have a higher level of credibility and easy to record. So, who would embed audio snippets on their website for visitors to listen to?
No, I spent about two weeks building an "algorithm." The API transcribes the recorded audio into text, and then the "algorithm" turns the text into an animation. You can check out this link.

Then Echo Snap can turn your collected audio testimonials into an iframe that can be embedded on your website, providing visually appealing and playable audio testimonials.
I only spent a month building this SaaS, and it's currently quite basic. But go ahead and roast it like a sadist, any feedback is welcome.
No names listed on my suicide notes. I promise.
And I am selling the pioneer passport for $19 per month. The Pioneer Passport means that you can keep the $19 free upgrade for whatever plan I launch later. Yes, even the $299 Enterprise version. Try it out. Coupon for 1 monnth free: Producthunt
