Diffry is a social platform with a focus on bringing more knowledge and transparency in the beauty of diverse hair. We made it easy for people to find helpful tips and tricks about their natural hair by connecting them with other users with similar textures
@trevor_jones Hey Trevor,At the moment I haven’t write any content about balding and what to do about it. Because right now none of our users are sharing that their struggling with this issue. But I do included bald in the hair type filter. Hoping that slowly also people who are bald/balding are feeling comfortable joining the platform. So that they can connect with others users who are also facing balding this way they can share their knowledge and experience with each other.
I would recommend your friend to visit a dermatologist.(if he haven’t already) lately an interesting development are hair transplantation's however I need to do more research on this treatment
@trevor_jones Hi, I am now unfortunately in the same situation. I am very glad that with the help of the Internet, I can find people who have the same problem as me and understand that I'm not the only one. My hair fell out after covid, and I am now thinking about doing a hair transplant operation for myself. I was advised by the Hair Transplant Clinic NYC, my close friend had an operation there and it all went very well and painlessly. In my case, it seems that a hair transplant is the only way to solve the problem since nothing else helps me anymore.
Hey product hunters,
The idea of starting this new platform for every natural hair enthusiast started when I founded out that I was having a hard time with finding a barbershop nearby that could cut my kinky/coily hair.
Because every time that I was looking online for a barber I only saw hairdressers that were familiar with cutting straight and wavy hair. However finding a hairdresser who can actually cut curly or kinky/coily hair was not that easy and most of the time they weren’t close by.
But I also didn’t like the way how I had to search for a hairdresser. I thought it would make way more sense if you could find a salon/barber based on your gender and hairtype. And that’s when I slowly started to create this new platform with a search engine that help hair enthusiast to connect with other users with similar textures. (Straight-wavy-curly-kinky)
The app is still in development…
Plz let me know what you think of the platform and whether you have any feedback
I've heard of it before but haven't used this resource as a helper yet. I used to have a problem with bald spots on my temples. The hair there did not want to grow in any way, and so it was important for me to find a product that would help me with this problem. When I tried to use medications that my doctor had advised me, I had not had as much success as I had with laser hair growth treatment. This procedure has shown positive results almost immediately, so now I will definitely be interested in your resource and make interesting hair looks.
