@haleyquinn @harrit_diwan You are going to struggle to grow an audience without an audience. It is an age-old issue that even companies who had a £25M budget could not overcome. Your concept is interesting but without an audience of people or a marketing budget of £50M or more, you will struggle. And I know.... I have worked with/for some of the most famous dating sites in the world.

@exopaul Yes a lot of people have said that. Given your experience, what suggestions do you have to expand the user base as I don't believe that there's no room for a newcomer to grow in the dating industry.

Curius is the mindful swiping app. Instead of left & right mindless swiping, Curius enables its users to express their intentions while swiping in 4 different directions, each representing a unique social intention. Connections are made based on mutual intentions & preferences of two users. WHAT ARE THE 4 INTENTIONS? 1. Serious Dating 2. Friendship 3. Casual Dating 4. Fling WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF USING CURIUS? Curius provides a second level intention filter as compared to conventional left/right swiping apps. A right swipe doesn't mean the other person is looking for the same thing as you. Instead of wasting time & effort to make sure that is the case, Curius by default matches you with people looking for the same thing as you. WHY DID WE BUILD CURIUS? My wife & I before meeting were struggling a lot on dating apps. The matches we got rarely had the same intentions. It was also a pain to meet new people when I relocated after my graduation. Meetups on Meetup, Dating on Hinge, Casual stuff on Tinder; location based social networking shouldn't be such a hassle. Hence we decided to create Curius where people can connect to others with same intentions & also form various types of connections at a single place.
