This is an interesting combo platform you've created. So the user can pop into different conferences around the world, then also connect with people nearby as well? Why the combo?
@jacqvon thanks for your question! The idea is that after a long day at a conference, you may want to explore the area to find other locals or travelers who share your interests. Jump back into a community (using a unique ID provided by your community organizers) and everyone disappears except for those in your community. The user filters also change to match your specific community (whether a festival, professional society, organization, etc.) - a community can feature multiple events at once on the map.
