Three months ago, we launched what, I believe, was the very first coronavirus-dedicated app (https://producthunt.com/posts/th...).
It turned out to be quite popular, with well over 100M+ visits and 2,000+ incredible supporters who bought us a coffee (https://buymeacoff.ee/tGJba8O). We were also featured on Business Insider (https://www.businessinsider.com/...), ABC News and Forbes, among many others.
We've been collecting data longer than anyone else and for most countries —including the United States — we have historical data since case #1.
One of the most requested features was the ability to compare the spread of the virus across countries. And by that, we found out that people meant predicting where a country is headed based on the curves of other countries.
As we were building it, we realized that it was too big of a feature to be just that — a feature — so instead we made it a product. So here it is!

Your product looks very helpful.
I can very easily see how the different countries are handling the coronavirus.
I also think that your product can be very helpful for countries to get a good high level understanding, how their neighbors are doing.
But my question is, how are you getting the information about the coronavirus cases in the different countries.
I think that if you are automatically updating your data from the government websites, it will be very helpful indeed.
@telltrail If you open the details of a region, you'll see the source where we're getting data from. The source is different for every region. At this point, it's pretty much entirely automated. I'm using your app since the beginning of the COVID19 - very useful to compare country per country and have a quick view of current situation. All changes made during the last weeks on the UI and on the data shown are really good ! Really excellent work !
