Finally someone building cross platform clipboard sync when usually indies just build for ios. Only concern is how is encryption handled since clipboard usually has a bunch of sensitive stuff. Apart from that, congrats on your launch Raj 🙌
@nithin_jawahar hey, the encryption is done before sending clip to server for syncing and decrypting it when loading it back on another device. The encryption is done using the key you can generate within the app and keeping a backup of it. But make sure to import it back on the new device. As copycat doesn't store the encryption key.
Ok this is AWESOME. How doesn't it already exist? I wonder how many years of my life I've wasted, emailing/whatsapping myself links and waiting for them to arrive on another device. This should make day-to-day work more efficient.
Works really well, useful for copying to Android from my Mac, and also useful when iOS’s built-in Universal copy paste doesn't work between Mac & iPhone.
