Watched the launched video and I can say that this is magical! Can't wait to try it out. This would definitely be a gamechanger for creating portfolios - especially for creatives that always procrastinate on building their portfolios
I've been with Contra for over two years now and I've never seen such excellent support for freelancers. They are working hard to help us be successful and provide ways to connect with each other in the Contra community. This latest feature takes the guesswork out of "how do I get started" and helps creatives and independent thinkers focus on getting their skillsets out there. Congrats on the launch! I started on Contra in April and it is by far THE BEST platform I've hosted my portfolio on. Reason being, I love the utmost support I have received from the staff and peers. It has been such a supportive community that wants everyone to WIN! I love the portfolio templates, super modern and engaging. As someone who is a freelancer, I love that Contra vets all their incoming clients that want to post a for hire listing. I know as freelancers there are situations where something feels off but since I have started on this platform there has nothing but ups and wins! One of my favorite things about Contra, is their contract option that they provide when you start a gig with a client. I struggled with creating my own contract in the past. Contra has your back! You guys are best at what you do! Especially the launch video? I didn't expect it to be this good. It immediately got me intrigued and I went on to check further; It really is MAGIC! This is a new age company, for all kinds of people, and I've always expected brands like Contra to do something extraordinary and out of the box, with the features, and their branding as well; and Contra's doing it pretty well I'd say. I won't be surprised if I see this company playing bigger games with bigger sharks in the tank soon. Personally tried and tested, Solid 5/5. I agree with @kuizinas point - "As someone who started out as a freelancer, I know how important it is to launch a portfolio quickly to get the business running. But sometimes it can take FOREVER. And that's not how it’s supposed to be." Magic is the art of fascinating people.
This is such a win for independents — cause let's face it... we've all awkwardly stalled on updating our portfolios for longer than we shoud. So excited to see what this unlocks for freelancers!
