Setting up and managing state tax accounts is something that every business that has employees will have to do, but there are two common use cases: First, is an early stage company who is hiring their very first employee. Agent adds significant value at this stage since founders are going through this process for the very first time and have so many other things to focus on. Second, is a company who is scaling a remote team. As the number of states where a company has employees increases (either because people are moving around or because they have just hired new employees in new states), the complexity of registering, tracking reporting deadlines, and keeping all of the accounts up-to-date and in compliance because a major administrative challenge.
