Command + J

As designers, when we first burst into the industry all guns blazing, we realised that navigating our way through Design in the Indian context was a huge task. Be it visual design, UX, or transportation design, there are certain things you only learn when you're in the middle of it all. Sometimes, it can feel like you're desperately looking for any kind of structure or guidance. And let's be honest, it sucks to be stuck. Everyone's go-to advice in these situations is to reach out to someone who has been 'in the middle of it all'. But... it seems impossible, right? This is why we built Command+J, a mentorship platform for designers, by designers. We hope to empower young professionals to start a dialog within the community to get the support they need. And on the other end, we wish to provide a platform for industry experts, veterans in their own right, to help give back to the community, one mentee at a time. Command+J is and always will be free for everyone to use. We believe there shouldn't be a price to receive the support you need to get you going. At the end of the day, our aim is to make knowledge about design in India open and accessible for everyone. ------------------------------------------------------ In v2.0 of Command+J, we're excited to launch several new updates, features and improvement making it much more easier to connect with a mentor or a mentee. From customisable date and time booking, tags for easier discoverability, and inbuilt scheduling without jumping from website to website, we've streamlining the entire process and reducing the time it takes to hop on call with your mentor or mentee. With all of this comes a fresh coat of paint, a new look, and a whole new vibe we're going for. We can't wait for you to experience the all new Command+J!
