CoGrader

I used to teach English as a second language to kids and teenagers. And I can tell you, it was awesome. It's incredibly rewarding to impact students' lives and watch them grow. It was also VERY challenging. The stress and long hours were draining. I spent a lot of weekends grading overdue papers. This is why we built CoGrader. It helps teachers grade assignments quickly without sacrificing quality. CoGrader streamlines the process, making it easier to provide meaningful feedback to every student. The bottom line is that teachers get their free time back, and students get faster, more detailed feedback and learn more. I'm super excited to roll out CoGrader 2.0 - it's way more customizable, much smarter, and it can now handle grading handwritten assignments too!

This is year 25 in the English classroom for me, and I was one of those teachers who constantly took grading home in the evenings and on weekends so that I could give my students feedback on their writing. I discovered CoGrader last year when it launched, and I wish I had it years ago! It has streamlined the grading process, which has given me hours of my life back! More importantly, it has made a HUGE difference in the amount, quality, and consistency of the feedback I am able to provide my students. Everything (literally!) is customizable, and the platform is user-friendly. The CoGrader team is highly responsive and does a wonderful job of offering training to support teachers using the product. I am the only one currently using it in my department, but I plan to complete the certifications so that I can present it to my department and (hopefully!) administration.
