Hi, I'm Tom, one co-founders of MetaVoice Labs, the team behind clip.audio. We're excited to share clip.audio with the world. We're passionate about audio & the power of generative AI to expand human creativity & knowledge. In the process of working on another product we found it useful to search for audio using text, specifically we were trying to find voices that matched text descriptions, we decided to release clip.audio free & publicly to help others find & create audio more easily. Clip.audio uses cutting edge AI to semantically search over 2 million audio files from around the web. We embed audio into text space, which enabled us to create a text-to-audio search & generation engine that many of you will be familiar with in the image world (e.g. Google Lens for search & Stable Diffusion for generation). Generation isn't live yet - but please drop your email on the site or support us on Patreon (https://patreon.com/clip_audio) & we'll make sure you're the first to get access to generation.
