A clear interface with animated landscape full of fun comic stories. A professional-grade weather app with perfect presentation of meteorological data, cutting-edge features and an unprecedented level of configurability. This is Cartoon Weather.
Hello product hunters
I'm happy to introduce you to the Cartoon Weather app, which will make even bad weather fun.
When I decided to create a weather app, I wanted it to be unique. I wanted it to be fun, clear and always give you the information you want in the way that works best for you.
A unique feature of the app is the animated landscape that faithfully reflects the real weather. Everything is accurate - time of day, season, climate, precipitation, snow cover, wind, clouds including the position of the sun and moon, etc. Just as any of us can judge the weather by looking out the window, you can do the same by looking at the animated landscape. Landscapes work great as a tool to quickly explore the weather. Just tap on the selected hour and the landscape will magically change to show what the weather will be like.
It's full of tiny animations for your enjoyment. The most fun are the short stories with a charming heroine, which always correspond to the current weather. There are almost 200 of them, but you can't watch them all in a day or a week. You have to be patient. The stories unfold gradually, day by day. From the simplest to the funniest.
If you want to see all the stories, you have to launch the app when the weather is bad in your area. That's why you'll be looking for bad weather too.
Of course, even the most perfect animated landscape is not enough if you need details. That's why the app is equipped with two dozen panels that present data in the form of tables, lists, text descriptions, graphs, images or maps. All the panels are fully interactive, so if you want to see more, just touch and you'll instantly get more detailed information.
Because I know that different information is important to different people, I've made the app very flexible. Panels can be moved, added and removed at will. If you are not satisfied, you can change the design of the panels, their size, the way they are displayed or even the data they show.
In this way, Cartoon Weather can be configured as a simple app with basic data or as a comprehensive tool for detailed weather analysis. The app looks great on large iPad and Mac displays, where many panels can be displayed in multiple columns.
Of course, there's Apple Watch support, plenty of widgets that can also be configured, and an extensive alert system where the user can even define custom alerts based on a data point value.
The app is available for free with advertising or for a subscription. The reasons for the subscription are clear - weather data is not free.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the app. Since it is also free, you can try it out now.
Regards
