Cardbots is a maker robotics platform for future makers aged 8+ that allows them to develop future skills with cardboard robots that they can make easily at home.
I got an early kit from cardbots and spent an afternoon playing with it with my kids. My oldest enjoyed building the Bucky robot and used the iPad app to program some simple controls, my youngest and I built a cardboat boat and an ice cream shop.
Overall, I would recommend this product to others: First, it is biodegradable which many other robotic kits do not consider; second, while the robots/app was fun to build, I really enjoyed using the cardbits to build random cardboard structures. I think this project is worth checking out and has great potential!
