This is really exciting, congratulations @philipithomas! This is a much-needed product, and I could see it being the go-to platform for small communities like ours. Excited to see how it evolves!
Wish I'd had this years ago for communities I was running. So many dead communities because folks didn't want to use Slack, Discord, or Whatsapp. Such a better way to run communities that don't need to be barraging folks with notifications.
I've been using Booklet for a few weeks now in beta form as part of a small, private community. It's *nice*. This is a tough space, and success will be hard. But if you want to give your community its own space, if you value thoughtful, human-centric (calm?) design and delightful experiences, and if you don't want to force people to master a complex, arcane tool, then Booklet should be top of your list.
How many of us are part of Slack communities that we barely engage? Creating community is hard. I've looked into a variety of options and I'm most excited about what Booklet has to offer. Elegant, calm, and smart – the app is a welcome space to gauge what conversations to prioritize and makes it easy to engage.
