I think this is a very half baked idea. How will you or or the project owner, figure out who is a legitimately good coder and who is not, if anyone can contribute ? More importantly, why do the people who contributed unrelated or badly written code get compensated as your app's mission seems to indicate? This is sounding more like "Prize for participation" concept of today's schools' sporting events. If you are not getting hired on those platforms you mentioned, there is a reason: There are people who are better than you to do that job. Ever crossed your mind ?

@thenomad63 When a project takes place, the people in it go through iterations. And from my experience in the design world, iterations tend to produce a higher quality thing. So even though you might have a mix of quality in a project, the iterations should flatten the curve. At the end of the day, it's an experiment. Making a value proposition like this means I need to rethink the whole process of how a freelance marketplace operates. It's a fair critique though. @yashthakker That's the goal Yash; rock solid stability! In the US, 60%+ of freelancers in general are really concerned with getting consistent work. That means over 36 million freelancers are frustrated with this reality. Something's GOT to be done.
