With Augie, all you have to do is upload the script — it will break down your script into beats and find a clip that's fitting for each beat. Don't like a given clip? Ask for a replacement with a single click. You can also combine beats together or split them apart as needed. For this type of video, it's a huge leap in productivity. But where Augie really shines is in the Storyteller mode. Here, instead of feeding Augie promotional narration, you enter an original (very, very, very) short story — or ask it to generate one for you — and it uses Stable Diffusion to create semi-animated images which match the beats in your story. Imagine being able to automatically generate a cartoon of a bedtime story you think up. Because now you basically can. Storyteller mode is a bit rougher and more experimental than classic Augie but it's a ton of fun and a very creative application of generative AI.
