Hello Makers & Hunters! Here we present the first public version of Audiotorium - a location-aware live audio app for social interactions and performances. Let's bring back the 70s block parties to 2021 in a socially distanced way. We need more locals to meet safely as we steer through the pandemic. Backstory: We were building an ed-tech product for classrooms where we tested a live audio use case in mid-2020. The project didn't pan out much, but we learned a lot and pivoted the technology for a broader audience in the form of Audiotorium. We launched the first private beta version to 50 users last month and here we are with this version. We are a team of 4 working from 3 different timezones. Here is what makes us unique - 🟢 Location-Aware Stages: Audiotorium lets you start public and private stages that can be tied to your city as a location. When a stage is opened for the public, the app can prioritize local audiences within a radius or for a larger global one. 🟢 New Interactive Audio Format (beta) Wav and MP audio formats are more than 20 years old and aren't interactive. We created a new interactive audio format that lets you record the complete stage performance (including audio) and replay it as the original. Imagine those live audio talks you missed because you were at work? Now you don't have to, and there is no FOMO. And audio creators can get some sleep and build influence while they are not on stage. We are also building a tool to convert existing static audio recordings into an interactive format.
