ArDrive

Hey hunters, After many months in the making, we are stoked to be releasing ArDrive to the broader public - making it easier than ever for users to exit the cloud and reclaim ownership of their wallets, privacy, and digital data. We often say that ArDrive is kind of like Web3 Dropbox, on steroids. It delivers the familiar use case of a normal file-storage app, but comes supercharged with military-grade encryption and an open-sourced code base. Instead of cloud storage solutions where subscriptions gate access to your own content - ArDrive users can store photographs, image files (including NFTs), PDFs, text documents, audio and video files, and even site manifests and code snippets, by paying once and storing them indefinitely. If you're wondering how this is even possible - you can think of Arweave as a public blockchain that permanently stores the files, and ArDrive as a portal to that blockchain - letting users easily interface and interact with content. Those interactions look and feel just like using a normal file storage app, but carry the added benefits of enhanced privacy and permanent access beyond the life of the organization. This is made possible by permanent data, the 0-1 invention that people are only just beginning to discover.
