As a Digital Nomad(ish), I think this is a great app. I'm sometimes under the impression that people don't always enjoy seeing pictures of travels because they're stuck at home, but this is the right environment against that—a travel app for travelers.
On a side note, excellent onboarding section and all. I'm bugging a little bit around the "Add a New Trip Part"; When selecting a location, it opens a world map, but you cannot select any country(On Android at least). You can still search manually, but on my travel trips, I often move around so, choosing only one country per trip isn't working for me.
Otherwise, a good idea and I'm eager to see further updates and people on this :)
@bujold19 Thanks for your feedback Gabriel!
So when the world map opens when selecting a trip location, this is for specific places (so Paris, instead of the whole of France). It will auto select your current location, but you can change it to be e.g. Paris - soon you'll be able to pin drop too.
Then once you've posted your trip, you can add more, so you can map out multiple locations you've visited on your trip.
Great feedback though, I've made note of your concern :)
Thank you,
Some feedback:
- Like the logo. Alpaca with sunglasses is quite memorable =D
- Like the introduction video. It's professional and clearly explains the value prop
- The unconventional spelling of the name might make it hard for users to find you. In conversations you'll probably have to say something like "Alpaca with an r instead of the a" which isn't ideal.
- The landing page feels a bit short.
- I feel the "Meet the Users" section on your On Tour page should be moved to the landing page. The images of the happy Alpacr community sells your app alot better than the embedded YouTube video alone.
- Perhaps have a web version?
Hope that helps!
