The Problem 💡
Since leaving Airbnb in 2019, I’ve had a digital creative agency called Ready Set. We grew to over 200 people making video ads at scale for brands like DoorDash, hims & hers and Ollie. But most ecom brands could not afford us. Agencies that crank out net new video ads are expensive. Even getting good ads made directly with creators costs hundreds of dollars an ad. We saw that most ads that worked had a recipe. A formula. We set about building an AI engine that could build ads from scratch. Not just production, but ideation (huge piece!) production and post-production. With room for tweaking at the end. There are a lot of AI admakers out there now. But they all tend to share some things in common: a) you have to use your footage only, or cheesy stock footage b) you build ads one at a time and c) they are buggy, janky, and generally not very good. The only thing that made this worth doing was if we could spend two years and $2M+ to improve this 10X and make it easier. That’s exactly what we’ve done.
The Solution
Airpost is simple. You put in your Amazon link or your product URL. From there, we pre-fill a brief with things like value props, dos and don’ts etc. You review and tweak it. That’s it! We use that info, your footage, our proprietary library of 400,000+ vertical UC videos and AI-made footage featuring your product to make 30+ voiceover-driven video ads within a few hours. An instant gallery of them, ready to tweak. Then you get new ones every day. All you have to do is upload them to Meta, TikTok or YouTube shorts to run.
The Team
With 18 full-time engineers, we have a larger engineering team than anyone in the space. They built their last video creative company, Olapic to a nine-figure acquisition, and go very deep on video tech. They are the best in the world at this.

Honestly, it looks amazing. One question though, do you think it's feasible in the future to, i.e. record a demo of a SaaS and create some ad videos for it? I guess the answer is no, but curious about your takeaway on this matter
