my gl.inet portable mobile-tethered wifi hotspot and router includes AdGuard in its stack. Finally, at the network level, I can block the likes of G***le and others. AdGuard is a turnkey platform that blocks most of the ad networks and trackers by default. SOLID FIVE STARS.
I think I bought this on sale a few years ago and have used it since. I have always been happy with it; it just works. You have lots of options to customise it to your needs, including subscribing to various block lists to improve ad blocking. I have even started using the AdGuard DNS servers recently.
Seems to be working really well. I've been using uBlock but had some issues with YouTube. I currently don't have the same issues with AdGuard so I'm satisfied.
