A modern web app testing tool that requires no installation and configuration. Write, run, debug and live watch your tests right from a browser. Get access to multiple OSs/browsers in one click.
Hello Product Hunt! I'm Praveen, founder of Zylitics.
Every good developer/QA engineer write end to end tests. There are tons of tools out there to set them up such as selenium, cypress, nighwatch and protractor. Most of the time they require you to setup your own environments, IDEs, Test runners (such as Mocha or Junit), infrastructure and many more things. There are some test Infrastructure providers such as browserstack or saucelabs but they still need you to setup every other thing besides multiple OS/browsers.
I started Zylitics with a vision to pack all these things in 1 single product and to make it dead easy for everyone to write great tests. It provides you with everything required to successfully write, run and debug tests and works right from a browser. This means you can write and run complex tests from a basic chromebook having just a browser. It requires no installations and zero configuration. it has a brilliant web IDE that does everything a desktop IDE would. Benefits:
- Focus on writing great resilient tests, everything else comes out of the box.
- Zylitics IDE allows you to write, run, debug and watch tests from a single place.
- To write tests, you use our own language called ZWL (https://docs.zylitics.io/zwl/ove...). It's a simple declarative language having no new syntax, contains hundreds of built-in and edge cases are already handled. Just invoke functions and things will happen.
- ZWL introduces modern selector and element finding practices. No more confusing waits or unexpected errors.
- Our documentation is very well organised and concise having guides for whole lot of uses cases. Resources are not scattered.
- To run tests, just select your desired OS/browser and a remote machine will be connected to run it. You're not worrying about managing that.
- While test runs on remote machine, it's live preview is relayed as if you're RDPing into the machine. You also get to see real time output.
- All test results are grouped and made available as soon as test suite finishes. We keep those assets forever.
- You will count on our support. No question or issue will ever be ignored. Our priority is to make you awesome at testing.

@praveentiwari looks intriguing. I’ve mixed feelings between Jenkins and Cypress.
Are you primarily targeting infrastructure or facilitation of the tests?
Hi @eugenehp. Thanks very much for your comment. Glad you liked it. I am targeting everything that is required for automation testing so that people don't have to look anywhere else. Infrastructure wise Zylitics is currently at 70% capacity. It has support for Win10, Win8.1 and many versions of chrome/firefox. We've full support for IE11 as well. We've planned to add Mac and safari to the infra in next 2 months. Support to run tests with CI pipeline will follow.
To facilitate easiest testing, ZWL is already pretty much loaded with most of the things needed to write accurate and solid tests. ZWL is very much flexible in terms of extending which makes adding new testing functions and language features very quick.
I want developers/QA engineers to just focus on writing great solid tests and leave everything else on us.
