Hello, product hunt! About a year ago I launched my first SAAS here on product hunt. And while I enjoyed almost everything about being an indie hacker and running a SAAS business, there always was one thing that I hated doing: customer support. I mean, I love doing customer interviews and talking with customers about their needs and problems. But 90% of support tickets were just boring routine questions like “how do I reset my password” or “how can I do this/that”. I did my best writing the documentation, but very few people read it, and the majority preferred just to text me if they had a question. I couldn’t really afford hiring a customer support agent, so, having a hacker mindset, I started looking for a software solution to this problem. Most of the tools i found were obviously targeted at huge enterprises, banks or airlines, costed at least 1000$/month, or had a “Contact sales” button (which in my experience means that you are not a target customer if your budget is less than 5k/month). I tried some classic chatbot building solutions, but they are all limited with a logic tree, and it doesn’t really work well if you want to provide answers to more than 10 questions. So, I started building this solution myself :) 4 months of hard work later I am introducing you: Zuq - AI customer support bot for Facebook messenger.
