Say hello to first unofficial Zeplin companion app, Zeplin Client! It is the only app you need to preview your designs on Zeplin. Simply, log in to your Zeplin account and Zeplin Client will bring your projects into your iPhone. Zeplin Screens, Natively on iOS
Might be the only one to say this, but this a huge embarrassment to the Zeplin team. Having a stellar iOS app built by a solo developer while you have a venture backed engineering team is shameful. Zeplin should have done this years ago and now that a solo developer (with incredible talent) releases this in his one, I hope they acquire it, similar to Trello and Paws.
@yogert96 Hey Patrick,
I don't know how to respond to that, but first thank you for your kind (and also harsh comments for VC backed companies). Even though I'm a solo developer, there's a lot of work done by my colleague @grainsmusic (Mert Tacir) in terms of the design of this application. Please follow our Github organization "Relevant Fruit" for further developments on the project. (We just released 1.0.2 on AppStore)
@grainsmusic@anonrig I will do that now. URL for people who don't want to search (https://github.com/relevantfruit). As a Zeplin user since 2017, I stand by everything say I said. This is a complete embarrassment with absolutely 0 disrespect to the Relevant Fruit team.
@yogert96 Have been using zeplin for a while too, would be nice to view screens on mobile but as zeplin focuses on being a developer handoff tool, perhaps previewing screens natively hasn't been a priority as you can't be productive coding while viewing the specs on your phone.
For this use case, I would prefer to use prototyping tool like invision to view. Granted this would be awesome if zeplin could house all these features, but building a product takes time and they are really killing it at their handover feature (tried avocode, invision, marvel but does not match up).
PS: I don't work for zeplin but am a big fan :D
