Hey fam! We are fans of YT lectures/ podcasts but short on time 🤣 So, we built YouTube Summarizer - a tech demo that helps you quickly skim and find the best bits in YT videos. Share your fav summarized links in the discussion thread & what you learned 😊

What do you think? …

A summarized link i would like to share with you all is Peter Jackson's interview of how the Lord Of the Rings movies were financed and the contrarian decisions taken. I think there are a lot of similarities between producing a movie and starting a tech company - pitching the producers, assembling the team, shooting the movie, test audiences etc. We can learn A LOT from movie directors! Enjoy :) https://publish.spext.co/video/4...

@_anupg Congrats on the launch! This is the I first polished I encounter in its category. Really impressed by the blazing performance and the takeaways accuracy. I am curious though: does the summarizer support youtube red content? also, english asiden, what are the languages currently supported? Any chance we can see a chrome extension soon?

It's amazing to see Youtube Summariser on product hunt. While building, we all became users of this wonderful tool. I thought why not today give it a spin for creativity. A challenge for the AI to summarise "Nasadiya Suktam" - Vedic Hymn of Creation - https://publish.spext.co/video/f...

@ashu_trv It's impressive to see how the tool can be used for various purposes, including exploring ancient texts and deepening one's understanding of spirituality.

Super excited to see this launch happening 🙌. From the day we made first internal release of this tool to this date. Every time i take my developer hat off and use this tool as a end user, it never fails to amaze me up with awesome quality. For me, it feels like this tools converts long video to-watch content to a blog kinda thing. I can just skip to whatever part i want to read, whatever i want to extract from my video and just go back and forth easily with having enough context ahead of time. Today, wanted to try something challenging with this. Uploaded one of Richard Feynman's lectures as the way he explains concepts is a little unique. https://publish.spext.co/video/3...

@rxditay Thanks for the link share Rohit! Bookmarked. Richard Feynman is one of my fav people to listen to. The book "Surely you are Joking, Mr. Feynman" is excellent too
