YOGAR is a yoga app for HoloLens. It provides a 3D learning experience through Mixed Reality (MR), which allows people to study yoga interactively in a familiar space with a calming, spatial illusion. Learners see marks in space, hear audio instructions, and watch as relaxing videos guide them through each pose.

Hey PH, Yinghua from YOGAR here. I built the app because many people fail to learn yoga through current methods, such as watching Youtube videos, mobile apps, or in-person yoga instructors. These methods all require learners to focus on a screen or the instructor, instead of on the movement of their own body, straining their neck to see the original throughout the session. This is against yoga’s philosophy - listening to the body and gaining inner strength.
