Yippity is an AI question-and-answer generation app. It was built to bridge the gap between your notes and successful study techniques such as active recall. All it takes is to copy and paste your notes and Yip will take care of the rest.
I realized that question-based learning works the best for me so I have been looking for ways to generate questions from my notes so that I can come back to them later. I wasn't able to find a general solution so I created Yippity.
Since there is a 2000 character limit I have been chunking my notes and generating questions at a paragraph level. I then copy the questions and answers that Yip creates for me and then paste them in Notion under the original paragraph.
What workflows can you think Yippity could be beneficial for?
Whoa! Genius!! Ok, I see the potential here but think it has to include a workflow. Like, maybe you upload a doc and then it outputs it with the questions added in after every few paragraphs, or inserted as notes? Or maybe it will be able to connect directly with Notion or Evernote or even have built-in notebook functionality… Not sure if I’m being clear but hope this helps you brainstorm!
@juantwojuan another idea (don’t know if it’s feasible): a browser extension! So, regardless of which writing app you’re using (Notion, Google Docs, Evernote…), you’d be able to select a passage → right click → “Generate questions with Yippity” → the questions are pasted below your selection.
