Last week it was Y Combinator's Demo day, where a selected group of startups from around the world pitched their idea to various investors. Some of your favorite startups most likely came from YC. Any startup founder or aspiring one has perhaps at some point wondered how it feels to be at the YC headquarters, and that is why with the help of a friend we made a replica of the YC offices in the metaverse. Since we had never been there ourselves, we used images from google and youtube videos as reference 😅. For technical specs, this was made using: -AutoCad Autodesk for the 2D model ( blueprints, floorplans, etc.). -SketchUp to do the 3D modeling. -Blender to get it to the production level. The render is not the quality you would expect from a game due to the restrictions given by spatial, the platform where it's currently hosted, but it does it's purpose and that's more important.
