Alerts, watchlists, and automations powered by custom stackable formulas. Workbase automatically scans and runs triggers over your data sources including Salesforce, Snowflake, and other live systems.
👋 Hey Product Hunt community, we’re the team at Workbase.
Have you ever wanted alerts that required very specific logic to be useful? Some examples:
Sales: an opportunity that needs follow-up due to declining engagement
Marketing: an account where key contacts have attended many webinars
Engineering: a P0 Jira ticket that hasn’t been touched for several days
Operations: alert on transaction backlog for specific units in a deployed fleet
Productivity: email threads with your boss where you haven't received any replies
These ‘data-driven’ use cases are often hard to do with a simple Zap. Typically they require...
(1) Combining data from multiple tables
(2) Logic involving multi-step data calculations
(3) System to proactively monitor for triggers
This type of automation that required extra 'data modeling' or 'last-mile logic' is something we consistently found while working on the Tooling team at Segment.
We’ve built an interface that lets you achieve just that by stacking formula expressions on top of each other.
✅ Hyper-specific triggers defined by formulas
✅ Formulas are persisted so you can stack and reuse them
✅ Formulas can be run across tables (AKA lookups and rollups)
✅ Support for alerts (Slack, email) and automations (write-back, create record)
✅ Intuitive workbook interface to organize your alerts
✅ Scalable to production grade systems like Salesforce
Let us know what you think!! Ask us about an alert you've always wanted, and we'll try to come up with a formula for it!
👉 Special for Product Hunt: if you exceed the 100K record limit on our Lite plan, send us a note mentioning Product Hunt and we’ll give you free access to our Premium plan.
@john_tan_21 Thanks John, we're all super excited to have this released to the community and are looking forward to hearing where people think it can be useful. We already have some comments about Close.io and DataDog being potential future integrations.
I've tried this and it's really amazing for alerts for follow ups. Haven't seen anything that compares. I'm going to try a number of additional use cases.
@robbielim Hi Robbie, thanks for commenting. Would love to talk through any use cases you have and brain storm how Workbase could quickly get them up and running
