Are backlog is quite full actually.
For "virtual offices", we are working on:
- A desktop application. We already have a PWA available but a desktop app would be even better.
- Integration with 3rd party tools. The first tool will be Google Calendar. You will be able to schedule meetings in WorkAdventure (rather than in Google Meet)
- Improved iframes. Currently, you can open one iframe next to WorkAdventure. In the future, you will be able to open many (to juggle between a whiteboard, a note taking up and a Jitsi meeting for instance)
- A better chat system (possibly with integrations in Slack)
For "events": we are working on improving the administrator experience in large meetings.
More generally, we are very proud to have "scriptable maps" (where you can add special behaviour in Javascript in any map). I think we are the only virtual world solution that has this capability. We are going to work a lot on this "scripting API" to keep improving it a lot.

Grégoire, Arthmaël, Grégory and I started the adventure in March 2020 because we were feeling extremely isolated from our regular social interactions as a team. We imagined a virtual world, presented in the form of a 16-bit video game, where we could all connect for meetings, workshops, conferences, team building activities, and even for few drinks after work 🍻 The master word is "spontaneity". Want to ask something to a colleague? No need to send a Google Meet invite over Slack! Simply get up, walk up to your colleague's office, ask your question and go back to your desk. As easy as in real life! Basically, we imagined a fun yet serious place where people connect regardless of where they are (open your possibilities: why not working from a paradise island then? 🌴) BOOM. 💥 WorkAdventure was born 💥
