Hi Product Hunters! I am super excited to introduce WISHUPON to you all. If you find wish item during shopping on mobile, how do you keep track? I usually took screenshot or copied the URL. But it was too hard to remember later. So we built WISHUPON. You can save any item from any stores into one app, by simply browsing +1000 stores in our app or using Share Extension on browser/other shopping apps. @jihyungkang Very cool app! How were you able to extract product metadata (price, thumbnail, URL, etc) from 1000+ stores, when each website is different?

@donnyouyang Thank you so much! As you mentioned, the structures of the stores' pages are so much different. So we developed commerce focused scrapping technology extracting products’ metadata from the various product pages to the standardized format. It implies normalizing the structure of the web pages and applying some of the machine learning. This technology supports our service to quickly expand the coverage of the stores for scraping the product and monitoring the prices. Furthermore, the point is that it is getting smarter on the base of the tons of products and stores data collected by users! :)
