Hi all, today's launch makes Wire the first open source, end-to-end encrypted messenger that offers secure chats, calls and file sharing for work and personal conversations while following strict European data protection laws. Business teams and other organizations have been requesting team management (and good search) for a while – this release was really driven by people who were using the free version of Wire for work and wanted better control over the teams. The whole team is super exited to tackle the work communication, to bring real security into the market that is lagging behind the consumer space where end-to-end encryption has become the norm for hundreds of millions.
