Windo is the timezone tool that I have always wanted. Something simple, useful and shareable. Compare multiple timezones, weather and sunrise/sets. Share your timezone comparison urls on any social platform to quickly view each locations current time.
For a person work with team members from a different timezone, this is a great timesaver compared with all those "What time is in xxxx" searches I have done in Google. Thanks for making it.
From a UX/UI perspective though, I do end up recreating my timezone in the comparing timezone section, which I initially assume that would be automatically replicated in the comparison area. I wonder what is your rationale in separating those two areas, as I think having all of them in the same space (or card) makes more sense and make the comparing process easier.
Other than that, Windo is a fantastic app that I think I am going to use it more than once going forward.
@minjie_shi , thanks for the perfect tagline; "Never google what time is it in xxx again.", thats the exactly problem I was building for.
To your point on re-creating your timezone, the separation between the selected city and the additional timezone was simply to highlight which city you would be comparing against (for features down the line). But your are totally right a much better UX experience would be to simply float that timezone to the top of the list instead of it being in a separate card. This must be why you are a UX designer 😉. I'll push an update to this out tonight, thanks so much for the feedback and nice words! 🙏🙌
