Hello product hunters! Maki here, I’m a designer developer and, well, the last year or so I’ve fallen head of heels for Tailwind CSS framework. I’m absolutely thrilled to be here with something for anyone in the same boat! High praises for Tailwind indeed, it’s helped my teams development process a lot, and what I’d really like to do is help anyone using Tailwind, while also highlighting the talented creators who are contributing open source Tailwind resources. So, I’ve created windl.io. Windl is a library of Tailwind HTML resources, organised and categorised, with a Visual Studio Code editor baked in to allow for on the fly changes before grabbing yourself a copy of any code you might need. I’ll be contributing my own resources, while also including open source Tailwind components and templates and their author attributions. A key feature on Windl is the ability to save your own library of Tailwind components. Wether you start from scratch, or you're forking other resources, your Tailwind library of components will be there, waiting for your next personal or commercial projects. Windl also supports Alpine.js, for any inline javascript interactions. My hope is that Windl can save you development time, get you inspired, encourage sharing of components and highlight amazing works already shared by the dev community. Have a nosey, jump on the Tailwind bandwagon, and happy coding! Please give me a shout and share your feedback. Thanks!

@maki_ Congratulations on the launch 🎉 I love this and often find myself traversing through webpages to find quick pluggable UI components. This is gonna solve that problem for me.

@muphet Thanks. Hmm yes it's similar in the fact it's a library for sure, quite similar features at the moment actually too yes, however the user generated content is currently private, with ability to share as optional (coming). Filtering of your own private projects and related components will be a key feature here also (coming), and there is also a strong focus on AlpineJS. It's a bit of a mvp at the mo, I'm figuring out what works well and how to best apply it. Community feedback on wanted features will drive this project. I'm currently working on integrating some of the page builder features from my previous product, with the ability to import smaller nested partials into the component being worked on. Lots of plans and ideas, I don't want this to seem a clone of any other site. I'm confident it will stand out with unique content and features in time to come. Cheers.
