What the heck, another travel website?
Sometime in April, last year. I felt that most travel resources are heavy, bloated and lack the obvious info like tickets ($), deals ($), where-to-park, parking ($), Accessibility. So, I build wikitry, hoping to fix it. π
π So, Wikitry,
- π‘ is for people who hate planning
- π‘ is public wiki (anyone can do a micro edit, which we believe will make it the most up to date resource)
- π‘ is minimalist (but has all the obvious info like tickets ($), parking ($) and deals)
- π‘ is for fast travelers (people who take chances and explore more)
- π‘ is not for perfectionists (sorry, we donβt have those 1800 reviews and 1200 photos)
π Wikitry Runs on
- Material design(UI) + Aspcore 2.0 + MySQL (yaay, open source stack)
- Google cloud (Micro instance), which is FREE
- Google Analytics
Intentionally, I didnβt get wikitry too polished, because I strongly believe something too professional is too robotic and has no soul. That said, I am eagerly looking forward for passionate people like you to join and nurture the wikitry community π±
