Thanks Nichole for hunting us! Whip Around is an eDVIR app for fleet managers that allows drivers to do vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs) from their phones. Why is this needed you ask? Within the fleet management industry all DVIRs (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports) have traditionally been done by pen and paper, but now Whip Around is introducing a solution that will save drivers doing inspection reports up to 80% of the inspection process time. Want to know more? Here are a few other great benefits of eDVIR with Whip Around: Reduces downtime to keep the carrier’s vehicles off the side of the road. This can cost up to $1000 / day and can become a serious problem. It can save a carrier thousands of dollars in fines and violations If a carrier loses a report it can cost them, but with Whip Around this is no longer an issue, all reports are digitally saved in the cloud to access at anytime. Reduces the time to pull reports for a DOT audit. This can take up to 2 days traditionally where now a simple search in the Whip Around dashboard can pull the needed report in a few seconds.
