We store information on platforms like Evernote and search or browse within them. It's not the way our memory work. Our memory just asks and recall. Mostly by the words we already know. "MyFathersAddress" is a werd with an answerd that is giving you the address information of your dad. Werdbook is the memory you can ask and get answers via email.
We first developed this tool for ourselves many years ago. It has evolved but for our basic needs this much was enough most of the time.
The reason for we build werdbook is that we noticed the way we always look for things we noted everywhere (evernote, notes, or many other apps) was always with a word in mind. "XcompanysProjectFile" or "CompanysTaxNo" etc. Then we search and search, browse and browse... in notes, in documents, etc.
Especially when you're on mobile and not all the tools you use are in hand (nowadays it's much more better if you're on one platform only) it's much more difficult. For many years the only platform that didn't change is email. So we kept it simple.
You create a word and an information corresponding to that word and write them in an email (which mostly the information we record elsewhere is in written form), send to werdbook and forget. You know how to ask for it (by your own terms, words and thinking). So since then, I stopped searching.. just asking werd@werdbook.com when needed.
Try it yourself... but give it a real try. After a while you'll prefer it over some other tools to store information (mostly for some types of information). Please share your thoughts and comments. This is something that has many uses and not one. Maybe you can help us give it another direction.
I couldn't get the youtube video at the media section.. Here it is: https://youtu.be/ZaDCgxiVRKY
