Congrats....! Do you have a step by step guide to self hosting as yet or planned? And what is frequency of crawl with self hosting...can it be more regular than monthly?
@simon_s_j Thanks, Simon,
Yes, Here is the documentation - https://github.com/webwhiz-ai/we....
We are currently working on a docker-compose based setup, which will help you run WebWhiz with just a few commands.
We currently crawl twice a month. But this is configurable. Let us know if you have nay special requirements.
Hey Everyone,
I'm Sachin, A solopreneur building multiple products.
Lately, I've been dedicating a significant amount of time to addressing customer support inquiries.
Although many of these questions follow similar patterns or are identical, I still need to invest effort in answering each one.
We built the initial version of WebWhiz in early March to solve this issue. We trained ChatGPT on my website content and created a chatbot interface that answers based only on the website content. Now most of the regular support questions are handled by chatbots.
Later we converted this to a product called WebWhiz. It is open source, and you can self-host for free. WebWhiz is now used by more than 350 products, including startups to Fortune 500 companies.
To create a chatbot for your website using WebWhiz, you can follow these simple steps:
1. Add your website URL to WebWhiz.
2. Select the website paths you need to fetch data from.
3. Embed the chatbot to your website by adding a script tag.
WebWhiz will automatically crawl your website, train ChatGPT on your content based on the selected parameters, and create the chatbot for you.
You can customize the appearance of your chatbot according to your website theme and fine-tune the results further by training custom data from the project dashboard.

We would love to hear your feedback.
Congratulations on the launch! 🎊 Really great product that I'll recommend to many businesses regardless of its specifics. What'll happen in case if WebWhiz isn't able to generate an answer to the question? Can it swich a user to other type of support (for example, to the call center) automatically if it exists? And how many languages does WebWhiz support?
@anna_sv Thanks, Anna.
WebWhiz supports offline messages too! If you don't get the correct answer, you can switch to the offline message from the chat interface itself. You can check the WebWhiz website for demo
And currently, WebWhiz supports more than 100 languages
