WebCatalog lets you turn any web apps into native-like Mac apps. Now, with WebCatalog, you can launch your favorite apps quickly in distraction-free windows. App data is stored separately, protecting you from cross-website trackers and preserving your privacy.
Hi everyone,
I'm Quang, the maker of WebCatalog. I got annoyed with the fact that Mac App Store is filled with low-quality paid web-wrapper apps. WebCatalog is basically an easy-to-use web-wrapper creator which you only need to pay once to install as many apps as you need while offering many useful features. I hope you'll love it!
The app is very usefull, but for me it has been impossible to contact the support. I tried email, twitter and the form in the website. Noone never answered to me.
I bought the license for the app lock feature, but it doesn't work as expected, ok, maybe it will be improved in the near future, but noone knows.
After buying the license my hope was that now, someone will answer but nothing.
So I asked for a refund, but surprise surprise, noone answered.
It could be the best app for this kind of purpose, but if there is no feedback from the developers, how can it improve in the future?
I would like just an answer from the developer, just a "hey, I read your message and this is what we are doing to improve the app" to make me satisfied of the purchase...
I happened to find WebCatalog through Reddit, and it truly changed my life. I'm a university journalism student, so I might not be the most authoritative source when it comes to reviewing the technology behind the app, but from a user perspective, this app has really helped me manage my workload and declutter my previously 20+ tab browser.
One thing I wonder is why the developer hasn't updated their Product Hunt page, since I believe they have gone through a major rebrand or something similar in the past 1–2 years. But overall, this is still a great app!
