Hi PH! 👋 It's great to be here again! A few months ago, Google launched an update of their search algorithm that started taking into consideration pages' performance when deciding whether a website should rank on search results or not. 🙅‍♂️ This means that if your website does not have good performance, or its performance suddenly decreases, Google will take it down from search results. I found about this the hard way. I started noticing less and less traffic every passing week to a Wordpress website I manage, and I couldn't figure out why. The reason? Weeks prior, I had added a plugin that made the site performance drop without me noticing. I didn't notice, but Google sure did. 🤕 The business started disappearing from search results – a disaster. This could have been prevented. If only if I had gotten an alert when my page performance started being bad, I could have reverted the changes and my SEO rankings could have been saved. 💡 That's why I built WebVitalsRobot. "Web Vitals" are these performance signals Google is now taking into consideration when deciding if your page is worthy of ranking. There are a few Web Vitals, but the most important ones are the so-called "Core Web Vitals", the ones that Google is currently considering. But I don't wanna get into the technical details – and anyhow, WebVitalsRobot measures all of them for your peace of mind :) The way the site works is fairly intuitive. 👉 Go ahead and open it. Enter any website into the box and WebVitalsRobot will start analyzing it. Once the report is ready, it'll show it to you. The report includes charts for many important metrics. Green charts mean that metric is within a really good range, yellow means still healthy but getting into dangerous territory and red means you should improve it. From now on, WebVitalsRobot will automatically keep an eye on the page you submitted, re-analyzing it every few hours to watch for performance changes. You can monitor pages! Enter your email and click "Monitor this page". If a metric suddenly increases, you'll get an email to notify you. I hope you like it and can keep an eye on your pages' performance! Let me know if you have any questions – happy to answer!
