Hi Product Hunters! Modern weather forecasts are amazingly detailed, but most weather apps show only a fraction of that information within easy reach. As a data visualization researcher, I thought there must be a better way! So I created this ultra-compact view of the weather to make it easier (and more fun!) to see the whole forecast and decide when to go outside. Over time I've continued to improve the app with a collection of home screen widgets, global forecasts, extreme weather alerts, UV index, and as of today, air quality — one of the only apps to include air quality *forecasts* up to 5 days out. Weather Strip also has comprehensive privacy protections including NO ads, NO tracking, and NO third-party analytics. And I'm humbled that legendary innovators like Jason Kottke, Loren Brichter, and John Gruber have reported using Weather Strip as their main weather app! I'd love to know what you think!
