So much for trying to be productive this 2016.
I love the story the makers posted on reddit:
Our story begins 6 months ago when my team and I started building an easier way to explore videos from Reddit called Vumble. At that point, we were aware of RedditTV, but weren’t satisfied with the experience because it lacked basic Reddit functionality like login, comments, and voting.
We knew we could do better and by November we had a MVP that we launched here in r/entrepreneur. That post brought us some fantastic feedback that has been driving our development.
Then, right before the holidays, we found out that the Reddit admins were shutting down RedditTV. It came as quite a shock, but we knew it was time to kick into high gear to take advantage of the opportunity.
We’ve been working our asses off and are proud to share this new version of Vumble; fully equipped with login, voting, comments, adding subs, and night mode. We've also built some unique features such as hover to play (like Bing) and click to open (like Facebook) to help streamline video discovery.
We’d love to hear what you think and would be happy to answer any questions. If you think others would enjoy using Vumble please share. Happy 2016!
