VidScrolls turns any size YouTube video into readable articles for Kindle or email. Ideal for avid learners tired of scrolling. Input a YouTube link, get a well-crafted article. Escape the scroll, embrace the read with VidScrolls.
Hey there, thanks for stopping by VidScrolls. This whole thing started because I was tired of endless scrolling on YouTube, just to find that one nugget of info or learn something new. We've all been there, right? And oh, the "Watch Later" playlist that just keeps growing but never gets watched.
It hit me that there's got to be a better way to take in all this good stuff on YouTube without it eating up so much time. That's how VidScrolls began. We take the meat of videos and turn them into easy-to-read articles. You can read them on your Kindle or in an email, whenever you want. It's all about getting back control of how you take in content, and finally getting through that "Watch Later" list.
With VidScrolls, you don’t have to worry if a 20-minute (or 5-hours!) video is worth it. You get the main points in a readable form, ready when you are. It’s a way to break free from the endless scrolling and long videos.
It’s a step towards making learning from digital content better suited to our busy lives. Your thoughts will really help make VidScrolls better for everyone. Thanks a ton for being a part of this ride!
@antho_welc I tried it. It worked pretty gd. Maybe it needs some settings. I tried a 1h video and the output was a couple of pages of text. Sometimes you want a summary, other times you want a long read. Would be cool to have the output be audio book format as well. read by your favourite voice.
This is a very cool idea!
A feature request - could future iterations of VidScrolls include image or gif/webp snippets from the video? Sometimes content creators are presenting data, graphs or code which further helps understand the topic they are presenting.
