Hey PH community, AI code development has changed software development for ever. However, for anyone who has done any serious development - end to end - using AI tools (whether it's cursor, windsurf, bolt, lovable, replit, GitHub Copilot or anything else), knows that it's not straight forward. We need to be careful with specifications and instructions. One way of solving this is to create PRDs before starting development. However, existing tools - ChatGPT, Claude etc create too generic PRDs. This is why I've created AtomicPRD! It's an AI Agent that not only creates the PRDs but breaks it up into consumable chunks by AI tools so that it can be converted into actual code easily. Furthermore, it looks up competitors and finds holes as well as gives feedback to the users regarding best practices etc. Finally it provides prompts so that users can easily use these PRDs with their favorite AI code editor. AtomicPRD makes it far easier for anyone doing any software development to create effective and usable PRDs. LMK what you think.. :)
