👋 Hey there! Georgia here from Josephmark – a digital ventures practice based in Brisbane, Australia. We’ve just launched Vest – a brand-new way to see which Aussie startups are generating the most buzz online. With our government’s renewed focus on innovation, we felt it was time to highlight the startups that are putting us on the map, making us leaders in our fields, and driving both economical and cultural growth. Vest was inspired by Product Hunt and Crunchbase, as well as previous projects of ours like We Are Hunted – a trending music chart we co-founded in 2008 that scoured the internet for new music mentions, rather than sales (and was acquired by Twitter in 2013). And our minimalist news catch-up platform Hash, which aggregates popular tweets about the day’s most talked about stories. We’d love to know what you guys think of Vest.
