❌ What's wrong with most portfolio platforms?
Let’s be honest, most of them:
- Charge way too much just to use your own domain
- Overcomplicate simple things and is confusing to use
- Feel more like dashboards than personal sites
- Make you jump through hoops to just get started
🔑 How Vers makes it effortless
- Live in seconds! No setup, no learning curve
- Clean, minimal design with a flexible grid system
- Custom domain support + free SSL, without the usual blockers
- Built-in analytics so you actually know who’s visiting
- Everything just works, so you can focus on your work, not the tool
🎯 Made for…
Entrepreneurs, Designers, developers, freelancers, students, and anyone tired of bloated tools who just wants to share their work beautifully and easily.
💡 Why I built it
I’m Sakar, a fullstack developer from Kurdistan. I built Vers because I was tired of seeing talented people struggle with bloated, expensive platforms just to share their work. I wanted to build something that felt fast, focused, and fair.

How does the analytics feature stack up against tools like Google Analytics or Plausible? Are we talking basic metrics or do you offer more in depth insights?
@gracebates Our built-in analytics provide most important insights like total and unique views with bot filtering, detailed geographic data including countries and cities, device types and browsers, hourly traffic patterns (most active hour), daily view trends, and identification of top-performing days. It gives you clear, useful data without the complexity of bigger tools. Not sure if that’s deep enough analytics for you or not?
This is perfect for creatives. Does it allow for embedding third party tools or widgets like Calendly or Typeform directly onto a portfolio page?
@reneegunter Currently we don't have it. But if the community asks for it, we’ll definitely consider adding it in future versions!
