Hey Timon, is there a possibility to add vegan products to the database? Or does it simply read and identify the ingredients and make a verdict itself?

Hey Nika!
Not right now, but that’s one of the first features I’m planning to add.
The app uses the Open Food Facts database (an open community maintained database). I want to maken that when a product isn’t recognized by the scanner, you can submit the vegan status yourself, which then gets forwarded to their database.
That way, it helps the whole food community, not just my app.😁

Does the app allow users to scan multiple items at once like when they’re checking out in a cart?

@tayyaba1 No, you can only scan one barcode at a time, but it's almost instant so it will still be very quick!
