The UX Backstage podcast is an interview series focused on learning the practices of designers in positions to influence the strategy of products and services. Its goal is to identify and highlight patterns that can be adopted by startups and small businesses.
I'm happy to share the launch of our new podcast for UX Backstage. The first episode features Ryan Singer from Basecamp talking about what we need from design in a leadership level.
A few highlights I appreciated from Ryan: How shaping (design strategy) is different from hands-on design, and the cases where design might not be the competitive advantage of a company. Ryan also replied to @uxdesigntom excellent question about how Basecamp goes about UX research today.
Any and all feedback is much appreciated. Enjoy!
