Ditch the surveys. Uncover real customer frustrations & pain points, automatically. Let users request features & highlight bugs to your own AI agent. Receive key insights as bite-size summaries.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
One frustration all my projects have in common: getting detailed, insightful feedback from my users. 💡💬
❌ I often feel the high-level feedback I get from App Store reviews or ad-hoc user requests to be too generic and hard to figure out the root cause of the user's frustration.
❌ I also find conducting more detailed user interviews too time-consuming, especially as an indiehacker founder!
That's what prompted me to build UserFeedChat 💬
How it works:
1. Create a custom-branded UserFeedChat bot, which you can link to from anywhere (inside your product, website or even customer emails).
2. Users can go to the chatbot and request features, discuss the product or highlight bugs.
3. Through natural conversation, UserFeedChat will uncover the REAL insights from users. (It follows the best practices of user research, including the 'Five Whys' principle and all insights from books like 'The Mom Test'!)
🌟 Bonus: UserFeedChat will also ask relevant demographic & usage questions, to understand if the feedback you are getting is actually from a user who 'should' be using your product and if they would be willing to pay for it!
4. You'll receive daily & weekly summary emails, highlighting users' key pain points & frustrations.
End Result: you'll be able to gain a clearer understanding of users' thoughts on your product, all on autopilot. 🔥

Despite building many products in the past, this is my first posted on Product Hunt. Let me know what you think. Any feedback is greatly appreciated 🙌
p.s. You can actually give feedback directly to my own UserFeedChat chatbot on the site: userfeedchat.com
Congratulations on the launch! In the future, you might consider capturing user behaviors and analyzing them alongside text-based comments using AI. Combining these data points could help you uncover valuable insights into user pain points and needs
@tonyabracadabra thanks Tony! This is a good idea - the goal here is to definitely combine user feedback with their actual actions & behaviours, to uncover what truly matters.
@abriscallbowker yea, posthog has API for aggregated data from user behaviors, and I was using it to build my in house analytics tool with openai API and it works like charm, maybe you can try sth like that!
Congrats on the launch @abriscallbowker
Does it adapt the follow-up questions based on user responses, or is it pre-set?
Really curious about how you plan to complete with products like canny.io.
I mean, all it takes canny is to add AI layer on top of what they have. No?
@ashitvora Thanks, Ashit! It does adapt as the conversation progresses with the user. It has internal goals, such as uncovering the root problem that the user is facing, and gaining deeper insight on their 'true' desires for the product.
Regarding competition, I aim to extend the 'user feedback, on autopilot' aspect of the tool, and build features that help automate actually reaching out & encouraging feedback from users. I believe this is a real pain point for current founders & builders, and one that canny et al don't really help with.
